Please Read this before Going Any Further

"MY PURPOSE FOR OPENING THIS STUDIO WAS NOT ART!"

"IT WAS PROVIDING A SAFE OUTLET, A WARM ENVIRONMENT, AN INVITING, COZY PLACE  FOR YOU TO COME AND JUST SIT, RELAX, CHIT-CHAT..... FOR YOU TO NOT BE ALONE! IF ART IS NOT FOR YOU, THEN HAVE A CUP OF COFFEE OR A GLASS OF WINE, JUST BE HERE".

"I'm from Cinti and my entire family is there, so years ago I lived in Chardon and went through a difficult

divorce.. I struggled! Fast forward, This year, I lost both of my parents within 6 months of each other, during the holidays! Again, I struggled terribly! I felt like my world just caved in, I felt like a 56 year old orphan with no where to belong. My kids are in their 20's and live out of state (which kills me, I miss them always!) So, The last thing my dad said to me was ..."Young Lady (like I was 10 yrs old), You get that studio up and running! you hear me??" Here's me .. "Yes dad." He knew its what I needed to calm my soul. My parents both knew my passions, my struggles, and my goals better than anyone. So, here it is! My very first brick and mortar studio that I need to share with YOU. Regardless of your artistic ability or interest, my workshops are geared for EVERY LEVEL. Just trust me enough to teach you what I know and I promise, from the bottom of my heart (the one God knows all too well), you will be astonished with your abilities! Because here, Failure is impossible".

May God Bless You All!

Michel Stewart Artist and owner or Michel Stewart Modern Art

American artist Michel Stewart changed the course of her modern art practicing an innovative method of painting “fluidity on any substrate.” Resonating with the global, cultural and environmental influencing as well as the language of nonobjective painting, Michel’s mobiles consist of abstract flows made resin, gels, acrylics and her own recipe of textured paste ultimately creating sculpture on canvas.

Other commonly used mediums she is proficiently using consists of are resin, mica powders, acrylics, alcohol inks, gemstones , healing crystal, crushed glass and a slew of metallic refined glitters––often poetic and gracefully formed and at times boldly colored––that hang in an uncanny, perfect balance which allows the artist’s manipulation of its various  size and shapes… Without a doubt, Michel’s passions lie within the abstract realm of texture, color, culture utilizing our earths beautiful treasures.
